The Four Clans

The people in Nippon belong to one of four clans.  Two of these clans are Samurai Clans, and two of these clans are Ninja clans.  I will write more into detail on each one, but this page is meant to give a general description of each.

When you think of noble samurai who follow the code of Bushido and their lord, think of the Gogyou Clan.  This honorable clan, led by clan leader Roxie Elephas, has some of Nippon's (and in my humble opinion, SL's) best fighters.  It is a clan for those who choose to follow the Way of the Warrior, and to lead an honorable, and noble life under one's Emperor and Clan Leader.  The Gogyou are very fierce fighters and train rigorously.  They have excellent teachers and are always involved in clan raids, tournaments and so forth.  In case you are interested in joining this clan, please speak with Roxie-dono.  She is very wise, and she can lead you in the right direction.  Please be aware though, that the Gogyou clan is strictly a fighting clan, and does very little roleplay.

The Renjai Clan is headed by myself, Blue Myanamotu.  Unlike the Gogyou, Renjai Samurai follow the way of Bushido as well, but their loyalties are not as "noble" per se, as the Gogyou.  Whereas the Gogyou do what is righteous and "good," the Renjai do what is required to get the job done.  Among our samurai, we also have spies, traders, businessmen, scribes, and yes, even murderers and thieves.  We have very close ties to the ninja clans in the area, as our clan is involved in almost every aspect of every day Nippon life.  We have a strong fighting division, and my officers are very, VERY good fighters.  However, for those that prefer not to just do DCS combat (like me), we also offer venues in roleplay as well.

Both Shadow and Kage clans are rivals, just as the Renjai and Gogyou are somewhat rivals.  Although we are united under Lord Ronin, we, just as in Feudal Japan should, have inner-clan strifes and conflicts.  Shadow and Kage have many frequent wars; both public and behind-the-scenes, to maintain power over Nippon. 

The Shadow Clan is closely allied with Gogyou.  And like Gogyou, are mostly comprised of fighters under the leadership of Nexisss Aeon.  Nexii-dono is also not only a wonderful teacher and fighter, but a skilled builder in weaponry as well.  Members of her clan fight and are the support for Gogyou members (and samurai in general) during sim raids.

The Kage Clan is closely allied with Renjai.  Similar to Renjai, Kage has both fighters and RPers in their ranks.  They are VERY good at assassinations and collecting intelligence, and are led by Plissken Wirefly.  Kage Clan is widely involved in sim politics and also will never shy away from an opportunity for battle.
